About Me

My name is Mary-Jane, my studio is in Whistler BC and I am loving it here in the mountains. I have had a creative business for many years now and just keep loving it. I'm a self taught artist/surface designer and have used my art to create not only original paintings and prints but other products like fabric, apparel, bags, shoes and many other home decor items Including drapery and pillows and bedding. This year my focus will be on my flower art, and  there will be new fabrics and many more other products created with my art. Also I will be licensing some of my designs and already have sold designs to a lovely store that sells beautiful baby blankets. I use mostly watercolour paints but hope to introduce some of my acrylic canvas paintings this new year 2023 too.

My life has been filled with many fun times exhibiting in craft and art shows at the Whistler convention centre and Westin Resort Hotel. Exhibiting and selling my work at the Maury Young Arts Centre in Whistler and Art Walk held every year in Whistler. Here I painted in public and sold paintings that I exhibited.  I hand painted and sold dog beds and other doggy items for a local dog spa store and exhibited and sold my products at a Whistler Dog show.  My designs were published in the Home Beautiful Magazine and my art was highlighted in the local and Vancouver newspapers.
